SOUTH ISLAND DELIVERY DETAILS

XMAS/NEW YEAR ORDERS

To receive your beautiful kaimoana, delivered to your door, in time for Christmas, please ensure your order is placed no later than 10pm Friday 15th December.

Orders received after 10pm Friday 15th December will be dispatched from Monday 22nd January 2024.

Pick Up Orders (Christchurch Only) are available as below:

Monday 18th - Friday 22nd Dec (7.30am - 3.30pm)

Pick-ups resume Monday 22nd January 2024.

DELIVERY

Our Christchurch-based distribution team, Oceans North Seafoods handle all our South Island deliveries.

South Island Delivery dispatch days are Monday - Thursday. 

Rural Delivery dispatch days are Monday - Wednesday.

We aim to have standard delivery orders, received daily before 6am Monday - Thursday, packed and dispatched the same day for delivery the following day.

Orders placed after 6am on Thursdays will be dispatched the following Monday.

Delivery to Rural Post addresses may take up to 48-hours' from dispatch. 

If your address is rural, please state RD and choose "Rural Delivery" as your Shipping Method"

No Post Office Boxes or Weekend Deliveries.

We don't recommend using NZ Post's redirection service. Please advise us of any address changes prior to dispatch.

DETAILS

All products will be delivered in insulated poly-bins with gel-ice packs and biodegradable wool-cool for extra insulation (if required).

We partner with Courier Post and have an arrangement with them whereby our poly-bins are kept in chillers located at all the main depots during transit. This provides an extra layer of security around the cold chain.

All orders are sent on an overnight service. You will be emailed a tracking number on the day of dispatch which we recommend tracking through http://trackandtrace.courierpost.co.nz/. All parcels will be left by the courier unless you request ‘signature required’ in the order notes.

 

RECEIVING YOUR ORDER

Please keep a close eye your tracking number to ensure you are home to put your seafood straight into the freezer - we accept no responsibility for thawed/damaged product if no one is home to receive the order.

Delivery to Rural Post addresses may take up to 48-hours' from dispatch. There will be an added fee of $10 for Rural Deliveries. Orders placed after 9am on any Wednesday will be held over to the following week to ensure a successful delivery prior to any weekend.

Please leave a detailed note (99 characters max) if you have specific delivery instructions for the courier driver. Please note courier drivers will not call to advise of an ETA.

Occasionally adverse weather conditions will affect the operations of our courier services, in which case we will contact you to re-arrange delivery.
